Lewis Bloor: TOWIE and Celebrity Big Brother star 'plotted to defraud investors in coloured diamond scam'

The Only Way Is Essex and Celebrity Big Brother star Lewis Bloor is facing court over claims he plotted to defraud investors in an alleged coloured diamond scam.

The 29-year-old reality star is accused with five other men of duping clients into buying into the diamonds despite knowing they were not a “legitimate investment opportunity”.

Bloor, alongside Joseph Jordan, 26, Simon Akbari, 25, Max Potter, 23, George Walters, 27, and Nathan Wilson, 25, is due to appear at Westminster magistrates’ court on Thursday to face a charge of conspiracy to defraud.

The alleged fraud overlaps with the launch of Bloor’s reality TV career, when he joined the cast of TOWIE for its 10th series in 2013. He spent three years on the ITV show before leaving to appear in Celebrity Big Brother in 2016.

Bloor, who launched a mobile app for personal trainers this year, is now rumoured to be joining another reality staple, Ex On The Beach, despite facing a criminal case.

Bloor, from Buckhurst Hill in Essex, is due in court with Jordon, of Waltham Cross, Herts; Akbari, from Loughton, Essex; Potter, of Enfield; Walters, from Beckenham, in Kent; and Wilson, of Brentwood, Essex. None of the men have yet entered a plea t
