Police are investigating the killing of a young woman found stabbed to death in south east London late on Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called to a property in Lewisham following concerns for the occupant of an address there.
Officers forced their way into the building and found the body of the 21-year-old woman.
She had suffered suspected stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, a Met Police spokesman said.
Although the victim has not yet been formerly identified, her next of kin have been informed.
There have been no arrests at present.
A post-mortem will be arranged later.
