Lexus is to launch the all-new LS 500 F Sport at the upcoming New York International Auto Show.
This new sports saloon comes soon after the standard LS 500 and hybrid LS 500h made their respective debuts in Detroit and Geneva.
This LS 500 F Sport is the performance-orientated model of the trio, and similarly is based on an extended version of the GA–L platform, which is the brand’s premium global architecture for luxury vehicles.
The platform is also the stiffest that Lexus has ever developed and promises enhanced handling, a smooth ride and a noise-free cabin.

So far, all that has been seen of the F Sport is a teaser image of the rear end. The model is expected to gain sportier aesthetics both inside and out, and will feature either the 409bhp 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol or the 345bhp V6 hybrid engine under the bonnet.
The 2018 LS 500 F Sport will be displayed on the Lexus stand at the 2017 New York International Auto Show from April 12.
The show will be held in the Javits Convention Center, New York.
