Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Leyla Harding has been confronted over her drugs addiction in Emmerdale.

While Leyla recently led pal Suzy to believe she'd given up cocaine, she has secretly been buying drugs off Jai's former dealer.

Tuesday's episode (June 21) saw Leyla's addiction coming dangerously close to being exposed when the dealer arrived at Take a Vow to offer to sell her more coke.

Rather than being alarmed at this invasion, Leyla was thrilled to buy two packets of drugs and later celebrated by offering to pay for everyone's food.

Suzy realised that Leyla must be getting high again after spotting her coming out of the loo with some white powder under her nose.

Suzy confronted Leyla over how dangerous her addiction was becoming. Aside from the physical impacts on her health, Suzy pointed out that her dealer was coming directly to her office — where anyone could see him.

"What is wrong with you?" Suzy demanded. "You said you were stopping. You told me you were done!"

Leyla insisted she could "take or leave" the cocaine, again remaining in denial over the reality of her growing addiction.

"Did you know I've had the year from hell? So, you know what? If I need a little bump to get me through a night out, I think that's my business!"

Leyla walked away after insisting she could quit anytime she wanted, leaving Suzy concerned knowing that wasn't the truth.
