LG G Pad 7.0 arrives with G3 smarts, G Pad 8.0 and 10.1 to follow

LG announced its G Pad tablet range back in May and now its beginning to roll out the slates, starting with the G Pad 7.0 this week and the G Pad 8.0 and 10.1 to follow in the coming weeks.

The LG G Pads all come with similar specs, but different screen sizes. Onboard is a 1.2GHz quad-core processor backed by 1GB of RAM. The 7-inch model comes with a 1280 x 800 resolution IPS display and 8GB of memory with microSD expansion. The other two models have the same resolution display but come with 16GB of expandable storage.

The G Pad 7.0 has 3-megaxpixel and 1.3-megapixel cameras and a 4000mAh battery. The G Pad 8.0 and 10.1 boast 5-megapixel and 1.3-megapizel cameras with the former packing a 4200mAh battery and the latter an 8000mAh juice pack.

All the G Pad tablets feature LG's Knock Code smarts allowing for unlocking by simply tapping a pre-set order of taps on the locked device's screen. They also feature QPair 2.0 which pairs a mobile and the tablet to allow for phone calls to be made and taken directly through the tablet.

The LG G Pad comes in black, white, red luminous orange and luminous blue. The G Pad 7.0 is rolling out this week in Europe with the 8.0 and 10.1 models to arrive in the coming weeks. Pricing will be announced locally soon.
