Liam Gallagher has branded fans who criticised his performance before the Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois fight as 'imposters'.

The Oasis frontman took to the stage at Wembley ahead of the bout and ran through a medley of the band's hits, including Rock n' Roll Star, Supersonic, and Cigarettes & Alcohol. It was Liam's first performance since he and his brother Noel announced Oasis's long-awaited reunion.

The band will play five dates at Manchester's Heaton Park next summer as part of a huge comeback tour. However, Liam's performance at Wembley last night saw some people taking to social media to voice their discontent, with some threatening to sell their tickets to the sold-out tour.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, one user wrote: "Kind of [sic] glad I missed out on oasis tickets bc Liam sounds a bit sh***,". Following Liam's set, another person wrote: "Missing out on oasis tickets was a blessing that’s painful."

Not one for mincing his words, Liam has today hit back at his critics in an explosive post of his own.

He wrote: "To all those S******** who were crying about my ANGELIC TONES last night you ain’t real fans your [sic] just IMPOSTERS and if you do have tickets you wanna get rid off I’ll gladly take them off your hands we don’t want the likes of you at our concerts nxt year any way."

He later shared an image of a piece of art depicting a bird perched on a branch, alongside the caption: “You will not stop me from singing my song… I will sing it forever.”
