Liam Gallagher set to perform Oasis classics at Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois fight
Liam Gallagher has disclosed that his performance at the Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois boxing match at Wembley Stadium will consist solely of Oasis hits. There's been increasing chatter that Liam and his brother Noel, who recently reunited the band for a 2025 tour, might be spotted together in public for the first time in years at the London venue this Saturday.
The last time the Manchester rockers performed was on August 22 2009 at V Festival in Staffordshire, before Noel left six days later, stating he "simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer" following a backstage brawl at a Paris event. Liam's brief set at Wembley, where he will perform before Joshua challenges Dubois in the ring, follows the confirmation of the long-awaited Oasis reunion on August 27 this year.
In a post on X, he stated on Friday: "SETLIST for the boxing tmoz ROCK N ROLL STAR SUPERSONIC CIGS n ALCOHOL tune in or get tuned in LG x."

All three tracks are Oasis classics. When queried by a fan about performing in front of a crowd of 96,000, Liam responded: "Yeah it's a little on the small side but I'll manage."
The singer has previously hinted on his X account that he won't be staying at the venue for long, as he is scheduled to travel to Malta for his festival Liam Gallagher And Friends that same weekend.
The string of 19 UK and Ireland Oasis gigs featuring Noel has seen tickets snapped up in record time, with two additional Wembley shows added after fans faced chaos during the initial sale, grappling with inflated prices.
Oasis have expressed their surprise at the use of dynamic pricing by Ticketmaster, which resulted in tickets being sold for more than double their face value, attributing the issue to "unprecedented demand".
This controversy has caught the attention of the Government and the UK's competition authority, who have committed to investigating the practice of dynamic pricing.
Ticketmaster has defended itself by stating that the decision to employ dynamic pricing was made by the event organisers, not by its platform.
