Liam Gallagher has hit out at brother Noel on Twitter, claiming that he is ‘fake’ and can’t sing Oasis songs as well as he can.

The rock star revealed the name of his debut solo single, Not For Sale, on Sunday night and proceeded to slam his estranged sibling in the process.

“See the fake bombing about in his stone island again coz he's in manc he'll be back in his Prada 1st thing tmorrow LG X,” he wrote, implying that his brother dresses differently when he’s in Manchester compared to London.

“It doesn't have to be that way LG X,” he added. “No seriously don't know how you stand the pain LG X.”

Gallagher went on to say that he would be opening his first solo tour with Oasis classic Don’t Look Back in Anger and ending with Rocking Chair.

“Opening with Don't look back in anger ending with Rocking chair bout time they were done proper LG not for sale,” he wrote.

Replying to one fan who suggested that Noel was the better singer, he responded: “Coukd sing that better than him while getting beat over the head with a frying pan (sic).”

He added: “To all you NG fanboys I can and will sing any song he wrote bigger better than him even if I was kicked in the b***** by a wood pigeon LG.”

Noel, who is also known for performing Oasis hits while on tour with his band The High Flying Birds, has been locked in a feud with his brother for years.

The pair reconciled a few years ago but have since reignited their argument, fuelled by a row over the promotion and release of Oasis documentary Supersonic last year.
