Liam Neeson opens up on retirement plans and working with Pamela Anderson
NI actor Liam Neeson has opened up on his plans to retire from action films. The Ballymena man, who is 72, is known for starring in a number of movies including Schindler's List, Star Wars, and Taken.
Speaking to PEOPLE, Neeson has explained when he might decide to retire from action films. He said: "I'm 72 — it has to stop at some stage."
The father-of-two performs in his own fight scenes but leaves more difficult stunt work to Mark Vanselow.

Liam said: "You can’t fool audiences. I don’t want Mark to be fighting my fight scenes for me."
Although he isn't 100%, Neeson said he may make an exit at some stage at the end of 2025. He told PEOPLE: "Maybe the end of next year. I think that's it."
The 75-year-old also opened up on working with Pamela Anderson. The pair recently finished filming The Naked Gun remake which is expected to hit screens in June 2025.
Liam said: "I'm madly in love with her. I can’t compliment her enough. She's funny.”
Also recently, the actor has starred in 'Absolution' as an aging gangster attempting to reconnect with his children and rectify the mistakes in his past. The movie is set to be released in the US next month.
