Liam Neeson Shoots Down Kristen Stewart Dating Rumours As ‘Stupid’

Taken actor Liam Neeson has brushed off hysterical rumours he is dating Kristen Stewart as the chase for the identity of his “incredibly famous” new girlfriend rumbles on.

The actor predictably sent Internet gossip into a spin earlier this week when he announced he had found love again with a high-profile woman, seven years after wife Natasha Richardson’s ski-fall death.

Names thrown into the hat by fans ranged from Kristen to Judi Dench, Helen Mirren, Susan Sarandon, Diane Lane – and jokingly Katie Price.

But a spokesman for Liam has at least stroked Twilight star Kristen’s name off the list, calling those rumours “stupid”.

It was a bit of a stretch considering her tendency for females and the fact Kristen, 25, is 38 years his junior.

It’s also emerged Kristen’s name only came up on gossip sites because she and Liam’s names were in a visitor record on the same night in January at New York’s Tao NYC restaurant.

Actor Liam’s actress wife Natasha Richardson died in 2009 aged 45 after she suffered a head injury in a skiing accident.

In a chat with a Sunday Irish paper, he hinted he was going to treat his new woman on Valentine’s Day, saying: “I’ll have to do my best for her. It’s amazing how far a simple bunch of freshly picked flowers will go in a lady’s life.”
