Rumours have continued to swirl that the couple - who got together at the beginning of this year - are going to announce soon that they’re expecting a baby and sources close to the pair have revealed they’re determined to be a traditional family.

A source told Now magazine the History singer: ”Bought the rings weeks ago. He’s old fashioned and wants any baby to have a mum and a dad who are married.“

Cheryl is reportedly just as keen and is in "full bridezilla” mode searching for a venue, despite having two failed marriages behind her.

The source added: “She’s determined to make a statement this time around and has her heart set on a beach wedding or a private island.”

Whilst we shouldn’t believe everything we read…the former GIrls Aloud star does appear to be much happier with 23-year-old Liam, whom she first met when she he was a talent show hopeful and she was a judge on The X Factor six years ago.

The couple have set up home in Los Angeles and are said to be working on separate music projects, with Liam becoming friendly with the likes of Pharrell and will.i.am.

The source added: “With Pharrell Williams and Will.i.am on the guest list, it’s hard to imagine the wedding being anything other than the party of the century.“

However, her relationship track record is reportedly worrying Liam.

Cheryl’s divorce from French restaurateur Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini became official on Friday and she was married to professional footballer Ashley Cole from 2006 to 2010.

The insider said: “He’s been having nightmares about being jilted at the alter or Cheryl getting bored of him.”

“That’s one reason why Liam is throwing so much money on the relationship. He’s spent as much on a house and the wedding is going to be something to behold.”
