Ringwalk Media asked: “When are we going to see the band back together?”
Payne then replied to the probing question: “I don’t know - but we just started a new group chat, so that’s something.”
Excited former boxer and interviewer Derek Chisora then told his Delicious TV camera: “1D is back soon!”
The key point for One Direction fans was that Payne didn’t deny the claim and simply shrugged his shoulders, meaning the statement could very well be true very soon.
Styles also recently hinted that there was a possibility of reuniting with his former bandmates when he appeared on the final episode of The Late Late Show.
