Liam Payne doesn’t want his son to look up to Cheryl’s friend Khloe Kardashian

Cheryl might be a fan of the Kardashians, but boyfriend Liam Payne isn’t too keen and is fearful of his son Bear looking up to the reality TV family.

The former One Direction singer, 23, said he has been having to sit through re-runs of the show with new mum Cheryl, 33.

Payne made the admission during an interview with DJ Toby Knapp for US radio station Hot 99.5 where he was asked to sing a lullaby – but refused.

“We haven’t really started lullabies yet but he loves the telly and my Mrs has got the Kardashains on all the time at the moment,” he said.

“I don’t mind watching a little bit of the Kardashians but I don’t want him looking at it and being like ‘Oh yeah that’s what we should do’.”

Cheryl is thought to be close with Khloe Kardashian, who reportedly sent the celebrity couple a £5000 Harrods hamper when Bear was born in March.

The former X Factor judge has also previously praised Kardashian, describing her as a “very special soul”.

She said: “Sometimes in life you come across people you just connect with, that was exactly how I felt when I met Khloe... I felt I knew her already. She has such a big heart and a very special soul.”

Cheryl and Payne welcomed their first child together in March.

They announced the news on Instagram with a picture of Payne holding newborn baby Bear.
