One Direction star Liam Payne has revealed that his son Bear has already mastered the art of twerking and gets emotional when he sings at home with pop star girlfriend Cheryl.

The famous tot, who just celebrated his first birthday, seems to have inherited his parents’ love of music, according to 24-year-old Liam.

“We both sing to him all the time. We play him music and he loves it,” Liam said.

The Bedroom Floor singer told Pop Buzz that when playing his new single, Bear “went rigid and almost [started] twerking on the table, like a baby twerk.”

The proud father also revealed that the musical toddler “gets really emotional” and threatens tears “if you sing a sad trill of notes”, before offering a demonstration.

Both Liam and his partner Cheryl, 34, have remained very private about their son and only confirmed the pregnancy rumours after Bear was born in March 2017.

Reflecting on the birth of his first child, Liam said it was the “it was the craziest and mixed emotions you’ll ever feel. It was insane but you can just remember every minute of it.”

Unlike Bear’s petite mother, Liam described his infant as “so tall and so lanky.”

“Everyone comes over and says, ‘your child is massive’,” Liam continued. “I don’t know what we feed him, I don’t know what [Cheryl is] doing.’

Cheryl and Liam first met on ITV’s The X Factor when the fledgling pop star was 14. They became romantically involved after Cheryl’s separation from second husband, Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
