Liam Williams is understood to be looking at a return to Wales, with three regions interested in his services.

WalesOnline understands that the 33-year-old is exploring his options at the moment, with Cardiff, Dragons and Ospreys all taking a look.

The Wales full-back has spent the last season in Japan with Kubota Spears - having joined from Cardiff after last year’s World Cup.

The move to Japan has affected the 89-cap international’s Test career, with Williams having been unavailable for this year’s Six Nations.

He has outlined his desire to tour Australia this summer, having previously held talks with Wales coach Warren Gatland over his availability.

Williams remains under contracts with his club in Japan, with another year left on his two-year deal.

However, it’s understood that the two-time Lions tourist is keen on a move back to Wales - with his wife, Sophie, having announced they are expecting their first child later this year.
