Lib Dems are ‘winning again’ - Sir Ed Davey

Sir Ed Davey has declared the Liberal Democrats will seize Conservative “Blue Wall” constituencies as he hailed the local elections as a “turning point” for his party. Speaking in Wimbledon, the Kingston and Surbiton MP said the Liberal Democrats were “winning again” and declared they would win the seat in a general election. On Friday Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that he took full responsibility for the results as Labour strengthened its grip on London and the Lib Dems also made gains at the Conservatives’ expense.
