The Libertines set to perform 'full live show' at HMV Empire in Coventry
The Libertines will soon be performing a 'full live show' in Coventry. Pete Doherty, John Hassall, Carl Barat, and Gary Powell will be performing at HMV Empire on Wednesday, October 2 with support act FEET.
The Libertines released their critically acclaimed new album 'All Quiet on the Eastern Esplanade'. The songs on the album were inspired by The Albion Rooms in Margate, with the album produced by Grammy-nominated producer Dimitri Tikovoï.
Organisers say the 'once-seen-never forgotten' live shows of The Libertines' are here to 'save humanity' from holograms, virtual reality, and 'AI auto-tune' and experience 'raw analogue' euphoria' at the hands of musical 'chaos mongers'.

The Libertines have come together from their homes in France, Denmark, Margate, and London. The new album formed in September 2022 when Pete and Carl travelled to Port Antonio in Jamaica and was recorded over four weeks during February and March 2023.
Doors to the bar will open at 6pm, with the show expected to start at 7pm and end at 11pm. DJ Indie Summer will be playing in the balcony bar before and after the show, with a free afterparty for guests in the balcony bar after the show ends.
Tickets are still available for £22.40 which can be purchased via the Eventim website. For more information about shows at HMV Empire, click here.
