Light Snow Falls at US Air Force Academy

The US Air Force Academy near Colorado Springs, Colorado, reported its first snow of the season on Thursday, October 27, sharing video of a light dusting at Polaris Hall, home to the academy’s Center for Character and Leadership Development.

The National Weather Service (NWS) in Pueblo warned of moderate-to-heavy snowfall in parts of central, south and east Colorado on Thursday and Friday, but said “only a trace of snowfall” had been observed in Colorado Springs. “The wait for measurable snow continues,” they tweeted.
