Lightning Flashes Above Montrose as Storms Hit Twin Cities

Thunderstorms brought lighting and heavy rain as they rolled east through the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metro area late on Thursday, May 12.

This video from Megan Fitzpatrick shows lightning over Montrose, west of Minneapolis.

The National Weather Service warned of 60 mile-per-hour winds and the potential for damage to roofs and trees.
