Lightning forked across the sky over Georgetown, Texas, as scattered storms moved through the greater Austin area on Sunday, September 5.
The National Weather Service said a risk of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms would remain through Monday.
“Afternoon highs will still be hot though, in the upper 90s to near 100 degrees,” the service said.
