Lightning Storm Passes Over Decatur as Tornado Siren Rings Out
A tornado siren rang out as a lightning storm passed over the city of Decatur, Alabama, on March 1, video shows.
Footage posted by Morgan County Sheriff’s Office shows the sky lit up over the local jailhouse as strong winds blow, and the distinctive, eerie, sound of a tornado warning siren fills the air.
The National Weather Service said a tornado warning was in place over much of central and northern Alabama until the early hours of March 2.
