Lightning Strikes as Confirmed Tornado Sweeps Through Chilton County, Alabama

Bolts of lightning were reported in Clanton, Alabama, as a radar-confirmed tornado and severe storms swept through Chilton County, on May 4, the National Weather Service said.

The service issued a tornado warning for central Chilton counties until 6pm local time as a radar-confirmed tornado moved eastward from Parnell to Maplesville.
