How likely Lancashire contestant Gill Howard is to win The Great British Bake Off
The competition is getting fiercer inside the tent as this year's series of The Great British Bake Off is coming to a close.
In the last episode, dentistry student and Lancashire resident Sumayah failed to impress judges during dessert week. Now only five contestants remain - one of which is another Lancashire resident, Gill Howard.
34-year-old paediatric nurse Georgie Grasso is the current favourite to win, according to the Online Betting Guide. They shared Georgie's odds at being 2/1, but the competition is very close.

In second position is Dylan Bachelet with odds of 9/4 or a 30.8% possibility, but Gill Howard isn't far behind with 4/1 odds and a 20% chance of being crowned the winner.
Entertainment Betting Expert Jake Ashton said: "Georgie has moved into favourite to win this year's Bake Off after long-time market leader Sumayah was a shock elimination this week. The latest odds now say there's a 33% chance of Georgie winning the show with Dylan following just behind in the betting market!"
