Kate Moss’ daughter Lila has revealed her famous mum tried to steer her away from the modelling world.

It comes as the 19-year-old made her debut on the front of the glossy fashion bible Vogue.

The famous offspring said her catwalk icon mum tried to put her off entering the modelling world.

She told the magazine: “My mum always put me off [modelling]. She was always like, ‘If you wanna do it, you can, but I wouldn’t recommend it.’”

Her mum, 48, began her own modelling career at the age of 14 and she has go on to be a Vogue cover girl 43 times.

Ms Moss has previously detailed the impact the industry can have as she said in a 2012 interview with Vanity Fair: “Nobody takes care of you mentally.”

Now her daughter is following in her footsteps, starring in her first fashion campaign with Marc Jacobs Beauty when she was 15 years old.

She has since worked with a number of high-end fashion designers including Miu Miu and Fendi.

Looking back at her childhood, the rising star revealed she was eight years old when she began to process her mother’s fame and realise the paparazzi were interested in her.

She recounted starting secondary school and everyone said: “’Oh your mum’s Kate Moss!’”

She continued: “You don’t really have a filter when you’re that young and I was like, ‘How do you know who she is? She’s old! She’s old and boring!’”

Also she has a famous dad who is the Dazed Media co-founder Jefferson Hack.

Having appeared in a number of fashion campaigns herself, she admitted watching her parents in the limelight has taught her to cope with the levels of fame that modelling can bring.

She said: “I’ve seen it first-hand, so I’m much more able to cope with it. I’ve had to say no to people. But I’m always nice!”

In her Vogue debut, she was photographed posing in a eye-catching orange bow-front dress.

Also she posed in Prada’s double-satin minidress and a silk bonnet, accompanied with bold eyeshadow to finish the glamorous look.
