Lila Moss Wears Slinky See-Through Gown Inspired by Her Mom Kate Moss’ Iconic Naked Dress
The 21-year-old model attended The Fashion Awards outfitted in a Nensi Dojaka design and vintage gold earrings from her supermodel mom's personal jewelry collection
Kate Moss made headlines in the ‘90s when she wore nothing but a sheer Liza Bruce slip dress and underwear. Now, her daughter, Lila Moss, is celebrating her mom's sartorial legacy with a naked dress of her own.
On Monday night, Lila, 21, stepped out for this year’s The Fashion Awards in London wearing a metallic see-through Nensi Dojaka gown directly inspired by Kate’s iconic look from 30 years ago.
“I love to feel elegant, chic and sexy, and Nensi’s designs are the perfect balance of all of these vibes, so I’m feeling confident,” Lila told Vogue about her ensemble of the night and collaborating with the Albanian designer, who was one of the evening’s nominees.

Lila described the floor-length gown as a “very classic” Nensi Dojaka number, courtesy of its lingerie-style details: pleated cups, criss-cross straps and ribcage cut-outs. "In some ways, it reminds me of armor," she said of the silhouette.
The model teamed the slinky one-piece with cheeky high-waisted underwear, Saint Laurent heels from her closet and vintage gold drop earrings that she sourced from Kate’s jewelry stash, per Vogue.
Dojaka also chatted with the outlet on why she wanted to collaborate with the budding model on this particular look. “Lila is the perfect example of a young woman unafraid to set her own rules – her confidence makes her embrace her sensuality, and she’s the ideal fit for the Nensi Dojaka woman who’s owning her femininity.”

Lila’s recent red carpet appearance wouldn’t be the first time she has worn an outfit emulating her mama’s forever-It-girl style.
Back in March, she told Vogue that she “consistently” copies Kate’s style, “always wearing black and gray and skinny jeans.”
Yet, it was only up until a few years ago that Lila actually thought of Kate as a “pretty cool” person — and when she started to grasp the magnitude of her mom’s status.

“I began to realize how fascinated people were by ‘Kate Moss, the supermodel,’” Lila admitted in the mother-daughter duo’s recent British Vogue cover story. “It’s only at, like, 15 or 16 that I began to realize she might actually be pretty cool.”
“She always kept her work life separate from our home life," Lila added. "Though I do have one memory of her taking me with her to a Topshop meeting, and everything grinding to a halt while she tried to teach me how to blow a bubble with bubblegum for the first time.”
Over the years, the powerhouse pair have walked the red carpet together.
This past May, they combined their stylish superstardom for an adorable appearance at the 2023 Met Gala, to which they wore coordinating looks baby pink looks by Fendi. They also walked the Vogue World show during London Fashion Week in the fall.
