Lily Collins reportedly loses wedding ring in LA spa theft

Emily in Paris actress Lily Collins has had her wedding ring and engagement ring stolen from a Hollywood spa, according to reports in the US.

The star, whose father is legendary singer Phil Collins, was said to be at hotel in Los Angeles where she locked away her jewellery only to find it gone when she returned.

US news site TMZ said the L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the crime and found no signs of forced entry where the valuables were stored.

They are said checking security camera footage and have classified the value of the stolen goods as more than $10,000.

The 33-year-old tied the knot with director Charlie McDowell, who is the son of actors Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen, in September 2021.

She recently told Harper’s Bazaar magazine she would “love to have a family”.

She said: “It’s always a juggle, but I want it to be – I want to be able to do all the things I enjoy. The key thing is finding out what makes sense for us.”

Collins is known for her work in films such as Mirror Mirror and Love, Rosie, and the TV adaptation of Les Miserables, while McDowell has directed films including The One I Love and The Discovery.

A spokesman for Ms Collins has been contacted for comment on the claims.
