Lily Gladstone Recaps Her Emotional Oscars 2024 Experience: 'Feeling the Love Big Time'
The nominee said she tapped the Oscar statue's "golden booty" on her way out
Lily Gladstone is thanking her fans and supporters after a glamorous evening at the 2024 Oscars.
The Killers of the Flower Moon star, 37, was nominated for Best Actress at the 96th Academy Awards, held Sunday night in Los Angeles.
Though she didn't win the prize, Gladstone — who made history as the first Native American person nominated for an acting Oscar — wrote on X Monday night, "Feeling the love big time today, especially from Indian Country."
She continued, "Kittō”kuniikaakomimmō”po’waw - seriously, I love you all."
Gladstone also added, "Better believe when I was leaving the Dolby Theater and walked passed the big Oscar statue I gave that golden booty a little Coup tap - Count: one."
The actress also reacted to seeing her film's Best Original Song nominee being showcased on the Oscars stage, "Wahzhazhe (A Song For My People)," performed by Scott George and the Osage Singers.

"When watching the Osage Singers at the Oscars, my inner voice said 'They’re the ones bringing us all up on stage tonight, that’s how it should be.' The history in the film and of the moment rightfully belong to the Osage Nation," she wrote.
"What an honor to be close enough to feel the drum," added Gladstone.
Emma Stone won Best Actress for Poor Things, her second Oscar win. Along with Gladstone, the other nominees in the category were Annette Bening for Nyad, Sandra Hüller for Anatomy of a Fall, and Carey Mulligan for Maestro.
In her acceptance speech, Stone, 35, acknowledged her fellow nominees.
"The women in this category, Sandra, Annette, Carey, Lily — I share this with you. I'm in awe of you, and it has been such an honor to do all of this together. I hope we get to keep doing more together," Stone said through tears at one point.

Past winner Jennifer Lawrence was selected to pay tribute to Gladstone onstage before the award was given out. Lawrence, 33, called the actress "the soul of Killers of the Flower Moon," which also starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro.
"Every second of your performance as Molly Burkhart is imbued with the plight, resilience and spirit of the Osage people," said Lawrence onstage.
"Your advocacy off set is a powerful display of dedication and leadership, illuminating and helping us reconcile one of the darkest parts of our country's history. Congratulations."
Gladstone, who during award season won a Golden Globe and SAG Award, next stars in the Hulu limited series Under the Bridge with Riley Keough, out April 17. Killers of the Flower Moon is now streaming on Apple TV+.
