A PLANNING consultant has commissioned a series of limited-edition charity surfboards to celebrate a recent appeal win.

Chapman Lily Planning has commissioned the boards from Bravery after having planning permission approved for Brocks Pine surf lagoon off the A31 in St Leonard’s.

The surfboards will be presented to charities Purbeck Youth and Community Foundation, The Wave Project, and BOWRA Foundation.

Each charity is proposing to use the surfboards to raise awareness and funding through a raffle, or auction.

The charites will be presented with the exclusive surf boards on Thursday, May 30, at a special event at the Bravery Café in Poole.

The Bravery Cafe has offered their space free of charge to support this charity initiative.

Brett Spiller, director at Chapman Lily Planning, said: “Chapman Lily Planning is thrilled to support our local community by donating these limited edition surfboards.

"This initiative not only celebrates the exciting approval of Brocks Pine surf lagoon but also underscores our commitment to enhancing the wellbeing of our community.

"We are proud to partner with Bravery and raise awareness of the remarkable and vital work of Purbeck Youth and Community Foundation, The Wave Project, and BOWRA Foundation.”
