Linda Lusardi reveals she still fits into small sequinned bikini she wore 31 years ago
Former glamour model Linda Lusardi still fits into a small silver sequinned bikini that she wore for the first time over three decades ago.
Lusardi first posed in the small two piece in 1988.
In an interview with Best magazine, the model-turned-TV presenter and actress revealed how she found the bikini during a clear out.
Surprised that she still fit in it, Lusardi, 60, revealed: “I can't believe I'm wearing the same sparkly bikini I wore back in the day.
“I found it in my attic the other weekend while I was doing a big clear-out, and it still fits.”
Suggesting that her ability to fit into items she wore 31 years ago is all down to good genes, Lusardi credited her parents when she said: “My mum, Lila, is 86 and still a size 8.
“And my dad, who I sadly lost a couple of years ago, was in incredible shape. I watch my weight, but I'm very lucky with my metabolism.”

Despite being in great shape, Lusardi explained that she really began to focus on her health and fitness ahead of her 60th birthday.
In an interview with Femail in 2018, the TV star explained: “I didn't really look overweight to the overweight to the outside world, but I was dressing to cover up and I didn't feel very confident and had bulges hanging over by jeans and lumps and bumps around the back of my bra.
“A girlfriend said when I was moaning about my fat, ‘What do you expect, you're nearly 60?’.
“And I said, ‘No, that doesn't mean I have to give up on myself. I want to be the best I can possibly be’.”
Revealing how she got to the weight she was happy with, Lusardi added: “I started a bit more exercise and got out my old favourite, which is SlimFast that I used for my wedding, to get by baby weight off and sometimes during my modelling career to get a few pounds off before a shoot.”
