Lindsay Lohan has revealed what she considers to be the ‘worst mistake’ of her career.

The Mean Girls actress was appearing on the US talk show Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, when she was asked the searching question.

Perhaps expecting the answer to be a movie project or acting role, she said ‘Drinking and driving’, with little more than a second thought.

“That’s a great answer,” he replied, to which Lohan added: “Well, it’s truthful. Is that bad?”

Lohan was charged with being DUI in 2007, after crashing her car in Beverly Hills. She was also charged with cocaine possession at the time.

After entering a rehab facility, she was charged for a second time only two months later, this time with the arrest involving a car chase along the Pacific Coast Highway.

At the time, she released a statement saying: “It is clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs.”

Her new reality series Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club is now airing on MTV.
