Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan’s penchant for frequent cigarette breaks is allegedly disrupting the filming of the first season of the new Aussie reality TV series, The Masked Singer.

LiLo’s fellow judge, Dave 'Hughesy' Hughes, has claimed the 33-year-old actor’s regular smoking breaks are forcing the rest of the panel - which includes Dannii Minogue and Jackie 'O' Henderson - to wait for her.

"She's not happy to follow the rules but she's not going to break the rules,” Hughesy admitted on his radio show Hughesy & Kate.

“The discussion was had: 'Let's start, we don't know how long Lindsay's going to be',” he added.

“We thought maybe she's not going to come back!" he joked.

The comedian has also shared a selfie of himself, Dannii and Jackie O on set - with Lindsay noticeably absent.

The funny man also revealed his very awkward first encounter with the Mean Girls star.

"I led with 'hello' and then I said, 'I'm on the panel',” Hughesy recalled, adding that at the time he wasn’t sure if Lindsay knew who he was.

"She said, 'I know'. She knew I was on the panel. Not like, 'I know, that's a good thing'. Just like, 'I know',” he went on.

LiLo has previously admitted she is "honoured" to have landed her gig on The Masked Singer, which a singing competition which sees 12 celebrities perform in elaborate costumes to conceal their true identities.

"The show has already been a huge success and I can only imagine it will get bigger,” she said.

"Each week will be so exciting to watch who performs and try to guess who's behind the masks. I feel honoured to sit on the panel and be part of such an amazing show."

And the Freaky Friday star - who recently opened a number of beach clubs in Greece - is even thinking of taking her business to Australia too.

"It really is an incredible country,” she added - and may have even adopted an Aussie accent!

"The beaches are insanely beautiful... who knows I may even look at opening a Beach Club there,” she said.
