It's been a turbulent year for the stars of Line Of Duty, given filming on the sixth series of the hit BBC police drama was disrupted due to the pandemic.

While the next season of Line Of Duty won't hit screens until later than expected, we will see the stars of the show appearing soon on another popular programme.

It's been announced that Adrian Dunbar, Martin Compston, and Vicky McClure will appear on a new series of Celebrity Gogglebox in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.

"All in the line of duty... AC12 take a break from catching bent coppers to #StandUpToCancer," the announcement read along with a picture of the trio looking comfy on the sofa.

It's no secret that the three actors are great friends, so we're sure they'll be a treat to watch on Gogglebox.

The good news is, we don't have long to wait. Celebrity Gogglebox special in aid of Stand Up To Cancer airs tomorrow night (October 23).

Other famous faces taking part in the special include David Mitchell and Victoria Coren Mitchell, as well as returning stars Mo Gilligan and Babatunde Aleshe, Harry and Sandra Redknapp, and Martin and Roman Kemp.

Meanwhile, in the world of AC-12, filming is underway on Line Of Duty series six. If filming can be completed in 2020, as the show's creator Jed Mercurio hopes, it means the new series will be hitting screens in 2021. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming season.

Celebrity Gogglebox airs on Channel 4 at 9pm on 23 October.
