Linfield will provide the opposition for Moyola Park for the grand reopening of their Mill Meadow ground. The Castledawson outfit have spent the last 18-months on the road but are all set for their homecoming following the installation of a new synthetic surface.

David Healy's men will officially open the venue again as part of the Blues' pre-season schedule. In the first of six fixtures Linfield confirmed they will make the trip to Moyola Park on Tuesday 2 July.

The Premier Intermediate League side are already looking forward to the game. A spokesperson said: We welcome Linfield Football Club to Castledawson on July 2nd for the grand reopening of Mill Meadow. After a long 18 months on the road, what better way to officially reopen than welcoming one of the biggest teams in the country."

The game will provide Healy's men with important build-up ahead of their first qualifying round tie in the Europa Conference League. They have also confirmed five other friendlies for July and the start of August.

The Blues will entertain Galway United at Windsor Park on Saturday 6 July for Matthew Clarke's testimonial. Then it's four away games Bangor [July 13], Ballyclare Comrades [July 20], Dundela [July 27] and H&W Welders [August 6].
