Three lion cubs made a “roaring debut” at Monarto Safari Park in South Australia on Wednesday, April 27.
The 13-week-old cubs Malkia, Chad, and Ruka joined their mother Husani and the rest of their pride, much to the excitement of visitors to the park.
South Australia Tourism Minister Zoe Bettison joined zoo staff for their debut. Bettison said: “Any cubs born will play a significant role not only in the Park’s breeding program for this vulnerable species, but also as ambassadors for African Lions, acting as a powerful educational tool to shed light on the plight of their wild cousins.” Credit: Zoos SA via Storyful
