Lisa Kudrow open to reprising role for popular '90s sitcom reboot

On Thursday’s Conan, Conan O’Brien and guest Lisa Kudrow got to talking about a possible reboot of a popular ’90s sitcom she was on. No, it’s not Friends but Mad About You, the show that gave a young Kudrow her start not long before she landed her role on Friends.

Once Friends was placed in the Thursday time slot following Mad About You, the NBC brass decided to create a connection between Kudrow’s Mad About You character, Ursula, and her Friends character, Phoebe. And that’s when Friends fans met Phoebe’s twin sister, Ursula.

So with talks of a Mad About You reboot in the works, O’Brien asked Kudrow the obvious question: Would she reprise the role of Ursula for the reboot if approached?

“I probably would,” Kudrow said.

And while that initial response wasn’t overly enthusiastic, fans can feel good in knowing that Kudrow already seems to have the character arc figured out for a 2018 version of Ursula.

“I don’t know — I guess she’s just an older idiot,” she said.

Conan airs weeknights at 11 on TBS. Watch clips and full episodes of Conan for free on Yahoo View.
