Lisa Kudrow has revealed that she suffered from body image issues while working on Friends.

The Phoebe Buffay actress recently opened up about working on the sitcom, admitting that she "felt like a mountain of a woman" next to her co-stars.

"You see yourself on TV, and it's that, 'Oh my god, I'm just a mountain of a girl. And I'm already bigger than Courteney [Cox] and Jennifer [Aniston],'" she said on the WTF with Marc Maron podcast.

"Taller, bigger. My bones feel bigger, I just felt like this mountain of a woman next to them."

She added that she was concerningly complemented after losing weight, even though it had an adverse effect on her health.

"Unfortunately for a woman, if you're underweight, you look 'good' - that's all I ever got," Kudrow continued in the interview. "[But] when I was too thin, I was sick all the time, with colds, sinus infections, some kind of flu. I was always sick."

It comes after the actress recently revealed that she actually doesn't watch Friends anymore, explaining to Entertainment Tonight: "I don't watch it if it's on. I might not like myself [on the show], so I'd rather not risk that."

Friends is available to stream now on Netflix, and airs on Channel 5 and Comedy Central in the UK.
