Gorillaz's latest song has dropped for you to listen to – and Pusha T and Mavis Staples have jumped on board for the ride, too.
Have a listen to 'Let Me Out', from the band's upcoming album, below. It's a banger.
The track hails from Gorillaz's fifth studio album Humanz, which has been a whole six years in the making. (Don't worry, we can't quite believe it either.)
Damon Albarn – or 2D as he's otherwise known – announced the release date for Humanz back in March, as well as the unexpected inspiration behind the virtual band's newest record.
Admitting that the initial idea came from "a dark fantasy", Damon said the idea of "the weirdest, [most] unpredictable thing happening that changes everything about the world" was what inspired their latest sound.
That weird, unpredictable moment? The election of Donald Trump. Obviously.
"We were imagining the idea of Donald Trump," Damon admitted. "It's not about Donald Trump at all... but that was our dark fantasy."
Also on the album is another exciting collaboration – although it might not be one you were expecting.
Clearly over their '90s feud, Damon admitted it was "really great" to be working with none other than Noel Gallagher in the studio. "It's nice when you see how someone goes about their business," he admitted.
Humanz is out on April 28.
