Cape Town – Tickets for Rocking the Daisies – one of the biggest music festivals in South Africa – went on sale a few days ago and are selling like hotcakes.
However long-time RTD festival-goers noticed some changes, like that there are less tickets available than previous years and that there will be a women’s only camping area. As you can expect - with any changes - some people are still getting used to it while others are loving it.
Channel24 Music sat down with the festival’s music director George Avakian and he explained all of reasoning behind the changes and how this year is being tailored to be better than ever.
We’re doing things differently with this sit-down chat and broke it down in bite-size pieces of audio on each topic. So that you can listen to the whole interview – or just the parts that interest you – on the move.
