Shania Twain is back with new music for the first time since 2012 – and her latest single is an absolute winner.

'Life's About To Get Good' is the first track to be taken from Shania's fifth studio album Now, which is due for release in September.

And it's an uplifting song about bouncing back from hard times in life and becoming stronger.

The lyrics, which were written by Shania, include: "I'm ready to be loved and love the way I should / I had to believe that things would get better."

Her fans are delighted with the new song, calling Shania "beautiful" and praising the heartfelt lyrics.

Shania's last release, 'Endless Love', was a collaboration with Lionel Richie back in 2012 – but she's been busy since, handing out tips to former One Direction singer Niall Horan.

"I have spent a bit of time with Shania in the studio," Niall said.

"The guy who produced her album, Jacquire King, is doing a lot of my album, so I spent a lot of time with her, and she's great. I am learning about it and I think it's really cool."

Shania is the best-selling female country singer in history, with hits including 'That Don't Impress Me Much' and 'Man! I Feel Like A Woman'.
