Lite WebApp For FaceBook review
If you prefer a lighter Facebook experience, Lite WebApp For FaceBook -- or FaceLite for short -- could be the app for you.
Pros
Lightweight: FaceLite weighs in at only 852KB and runs in Android 2.1 or later, so it's great for older devices or users who just want a light, fast app that uses few resources -- something to consider if you regularly open other apps when using Facebook.
Nice looks: Ads aside, FaceLite's menu is neatly configured and nicely rendered: plain and efficient, with an unmistakable Facebook look. The Settings drawer's menu is particularly nice.
Easy access: Logging in to our existing Facebook account enabled all mobile features, but we also created a new account in FaceLite. It's easy enough for beginners.
Cons
Ads: We can't complain about ads since they keep apps free, but some of FaceLite's ads are poorly placed for users with large fingers or poor aim. Many of the flashing ads are distracting and could become a nuisance, sufficient to drive users elsewhere.
Bottom Line
Even if it's not your primary Facebook app, FaceLite, or Lite WebApp for FaceBook, has many uses, especially in older devices or for a lighter footprint when app use is heavy.
