Little Mix dropped their latest album LM5 and fans are hailing it their “best ever”.

Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Jesy Nelson left fans in a mess after they released their first album since 2016 hit Glory Days on Friday morning.

The girls were praised for inspiring youngsters with songs encouraging body confidence and inclusivity.

One user wrote: “I'm so happy that finally I can hear all album I think that is the best album in the world. Thank you girls for this powerful, wonderful, inspiring songs new era has begun.”

Another commented: “So proud! Best album ever you girls are so talented it’s unreal! Amazzzzing we love you to the moon and back (sic).”

A third added: “How everybody have a favourite from #LM5? I can’t choose one.”

The group’s latest release is thought to be their final under Simon Cowell's record label, following their split from Syco.

Cowell revealed he had parted ways with the group, seven years after they first signed to his record label after winning The X Factor in 2011.

The music mogul told how an argument erupted over a song writing credit for the group's hit single Woman Like Me, with Cowell claiming they didn’t even want to record the track.

He told the Sun: “It was just embarrassing but, funnily enough, I was more annoyed, again, not about me, but about the fact people who had worked so hard in my company were being misrepresented.

“Why do artists think they’re more important than staff members? They’re not. They’re the same.”

Despite the differences, Cowell praised the four-piece for their work ethic, hailing them the “hardest working bunch of girls”.
