Little Mix has had what will surely be the last laugh in their ongoing row with Piers Morgan - by using a clip of the Good Morning Britain presenter as part of their latest tour.

Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock hit the road earlier this week and snippets from the tour have been shared by fans online.

One clip which has been doing the rounds reveals that the ladies take aim at Morgan, 54, during the concert, by remixing a video of him asking them for a “public apology”.

A meme of a man laughing at a computer then cuts in.

The video is taken from a November 2018 episode of Good Morning Britain, which saw Morgan address the fact Nelson, 28, had called him a “t**t” on Nick Grimshaw’s Radio 1 show.

“If you've got the balls, come on this programme and say it to my face,” he adds, with his words repeating and becoming warped as his face fades out.

The band then launch into their LM5 track Wasabi.

Morgan naturally had something to say about the clip, addressing it during Wednesday’s Good Morning Britain.

“Did you get permission from me in writing?” he said, claiming the band “owe me a massive cheque now”.

The presenter also tweeted about the matter but unfortunately for him, he’s not actually entitled to a penny.

Confirming that they sought permission from the breakfast show’s bosses, Little Mix tweeted: “Your bosses at GMB signed it off, including you...soz hun.”

Extending an olive branch, they added: “Piers you gorgey hun, we know you’ve always been our number 1 fan. we’ve got a ticket at the box office with your name on it #comeandsayittomyface”

This is far from the first time that a music act has used negative comments about themselves to open a set.

In June, chart topper Lewis Capaldi employed the same technique at Glastonbury, mocking Noel Gallagher, who had previously said: “Who’s this Capaldi fella?… Who the f***’s that idiot?”

Also at Glastonbury, Jay Z opened his history-making 2008 set with a compilation of interviews with fans and celebrities who didn’t think he deserved to headline the festival.

Little Mix’s LM5 tour will see them perform almost 50 shows in the next three months.

A series of UK dates will take place in October and November.
