Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards welcomes first baby with Liverpool footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Little Mix star Perrie Edwards and Liverpool footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have welcomed their first child.

The pair shared the news on their Instagram pages, posting a black and white photo of the baby's hand on its face,

Edwards also shared a picture of the child's foot resting on Oxlade-Chamberlain's hand.

She wrote: "Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21."

Edwards, 28, announced she was pregnant in May, sharing a photo of her bump on Instagram and another shot of the footballer cradling it from behind.

Announcing the pregnancy, Oxlade-Chamberlain wrote: "Anyone got any advice on how to change nappies?"

The couple have been together since 2017.

Edwards is part of Little Mix, which formed on The X Factor in 2011 and has become one of the UK's biggest girl-bands.

The other band members include Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock after Jesy Nelson left the group in December 2020.

Pinnock announced in May that she is expecting a child with her fiancé footballer Andre Gray.
