The girl group, composed of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, have used their high profile status for good as they star in the black and white poster with their ankles in shackles.
In a statement on the website, Leigh-Anne said: “We were shocked to learn that wild animals are still suffering in circuses.”
“Animals don’t jump through rings of fire for fun – they do so out of fear, and it’s time to ban this so-called form of entertainment once and for all.”
She continued as spokesperson for the Black Magic singers, “There’s no reason why animals should still be suffering in circuses, and we hope that by posing for this ad, we’ll be doing our bit to help ban the use of wild animals in circuses. We hope, too, that our fans will join us in supporting PETA’s campaign to end this cruelty.”
PETA director Mimi Bekhechi added: “PETA and Little Mix are calling in on the new Government to listen to the will of the people and allow only circuses that feature willing human performers.”
If anyone can get the Government to stand up and listen surely it’s the MIXERS… where do we sign?

Wild animals such as elephants, lions and tigers are forced to live in cramped conditions and can face physical and mental abuse as a result.
PETA and Little Mix are joining forces to encourage people to steer clear of any big tops that use wild animals as part of their performances.
So, as well as being one of the hottest girl groups in the world right now, giving us all kinds of style envy and endless #SquadGoals - the fierce foursome have also shown that they care about a good cause too!
Our love is ever-growing <3
