Good news – Little Mix and Stormzy are here to make your Friday, as their brand new single 'Power' is now finally out!

Dropping ahead of their new video – in which the girls are seriously slaying, going by their teaser pictures – Little Mix and Stormzy's collaboration is now available to stream and download for your listening pleasure.

You can have a listen to the hotly-anticipated track right right here, but spoiler alert: it's a pretty empowering anthem. Go figure.

Little Mix are on form, delivering fierce vocals and on-point girl-power messages as always, but everyone's favourite grime artist Stormzy is also here to spread the feminist gospel.

"You can be a woman and a boss and wear the trousers at the same time," he raps. Thanks, Stormzy.

But although a lot of fans were looking forward to the team-up, there were some out there who were pretty disappointed with the band's choice of a male artist.

"Can you please stop add[ing] a feature in every damn song?" one Twitter user wrote after the collab was confirmed. "It's a song about FEMALE power, we don't wanna man on it."

"Why are you ruining a female empowerment song with a man like you ruined an LGBT song with a straight feature? Why water down your message?" another asked.

Although it is one of the more unexpected collaborations in the music world, Stormzy has a pretty solid reason for agreeing to feature on the single.

When asked by one fan why he'd decided to make a song with Little Mix on Twitter, the rapper simply replied: "Coz I rate Little Mix. More than I rate some rappers tbh."

Case closed.
