Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards Is NOT Dating TOWIE’s Joey Essex

They were an unexpected pairing for all of about five minutes, but a rep for Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards has now denied claims that she’s been enjoying secret dates with TOWIE star Joey Essex.

Is it just us that were kinda interested to see these two as a couple or…?

Pez has been enjoying being a single pringle since splitting from former One Direction singer Zayn Malik earlier this year, recently admitting: “I’m having an absolute blast. We have a bit of banter with guys in nightclubs… I love it. I’m feeling brilliant and I’m in a good place.”

Joey is also reportedly single, after he apparently split from Charlotte Stuchfield.

Then, at the weekend, it was rumoured that Pez had struck up something of an early romance with Mr Essex himself after the two swapped numbers at the Pride of Britain awards.

However, before we could even BEGIN to think about their ship name, a spokesperson for the Little Mix singer has shutdown all the rumours, telling MailOnline: “Perrie is not dating Joey.”

So that clears that up.

The original reports came from a sneaky source who blabbed to The Mirror, claiming Joey ‘wasted no time’ in getting in contact with Pez after being introduced to her by friends.

The source said: “It’s very early days, but Perrie likes Joey because he makes her laugh.

“They are just getting to know each other and taking things slowly, but Joey is already smitten.

“Perrie has just come out of a serious relationship and is enjoying having fun right now.”
