Live at Leeds festival: Kate Tempest, Dream Wife, Ibibio Sound Machine and Hak Baker to play The Independent stage

The Independent is thrilled to reveal the lineup on our stage at this year's Live at Leeds festival, which features favourites Hak Baker, Dream Wife, Gengahr, Ibibio Sound Machine, Elder Island, and headliner Kate Tempest.

The stage, which is located at the Leed's Beckett Student's Union, is in partnership with the PRS Foundation's Momentum Music Fund.

It offers grants of £5,000 to £15,000 to UK-based artists and bands, in order to help them break through to the next stage of their careers via support for recording, touring and marketing.

PRS is the UK's leading charitable funder of new music, and since 2000 has given more than £32 million to over 6,800 new music initiatives.

Elsewhere at the festival, music fans will be able to see live performances from Confidence Man, Kawala, Fatherson, Mini Mansions, Tom Grennan, Sundara Karma, Black Honey, Sports Team and Another Sky.

Tickets for Live at Leeds are on sale now. The festival takes place on Saturday 4 May.
