Liverpool Christmas Market 2024 opening and close times

Liverpool Christmas Markets return tomorrow for another six weeks of shopping, food and festive entertainment. The annual staple sprawls itself across St George's Plateau and William Brown Street with something for all ages to enjoy.

The Liverpool Christmas Markets return from Saturday, November 16, until Tuesday, December 24. Visitors can enjoy the market from 11am until 10pm daily as long as weather permits. There will be special hours in place on Christmas Eve, closing at 5pm.

Organisers have promised an array of festive treats, crafts, and winter fairground rides. There will be a variety of food options and a wide range of craft and gift traders offering unique items such as jewellery, Christmas ornaments, hand-crafted leather journals, woollen wears, unique art, hand-painted creative gifts, bottles of festive tipple, delicious cheese, and much more.

The Alpine Bar and Karaoke Ski huts are annual favourites and perfect for adults to unwind with some live entertainment. Expect traditional hot cider, mulled wine, beer, or something different like hot chocolate, coffee, bubble tea, and soft drinks.

Visitors can also enjoy the Tipi Bar's warm fire or soak up views in the Windmill Bar. The Bavarian Bar will offer live entertainment with smaller barrel and chalet bars scattered throughout the market.

If you're arriving in Liverpool by train, the markets are a short distance from Liverpool Lime Street, where Northern Rail and national rail services call. There's also a Merseyrail station at Lime Street if you’re coming from Wirral or wish to change to Liverpool Central, Moorfields or James Street.
