Liverpool could be in the market for new signings in January if the latest reports are to be believed. The Reds have just three months to wait before they are able to make more new additions to their squad for the second half of the season.

Arne Slot has been enjoying his first season as Liverpool's new head coach. The Reds are top of the Premier League table and have won seven of their eight matches in all competitions this season.

Federico Chiesa was the only new signing to be added to Liverpool's squad for this season. The Italy international was joined by Giorgi Mamardashvili in being signed by the Reds, but the Valencia goalkeeper will spend the remainder of the season on loan with the La Liga club before officially moving to Anfield next summer.

The ECHO takes a look at some of the latest Liverpool news and gossip that have emerged over the last 24 hours.

Liverpool are reportedly one of the clubs interested in signing Fulham defender Antonee Robinson. According to Give Me Sport, the Reds will have to fend off interest from Manchester United and Chelsea if they wish to sign the left-back.

The report claims that Man United are pushing to sign Robinson and beat Liverpool to the United States international's signature. It has been stated, though, that the Reds are weighing up making an offer in the New Year or next summer.

Elsewhere, Liverpool are being linked with a move for Lecce defender Patrick Dorgu. According to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, the Reds are among a host of Premier League clubs looking to sign the Lecce left-back in the coming months.

The report claims that Liverpool are alongside Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in expressing an interest in signing Dorgu, who is one of the most highly-rated full-backs in Serie A. Dorgu was heavily linked with a move to Spurs during the summer transfer window, but now the report claims that Liverpool may also face competition from Italy with Napoli and AC Milan now also joining the race for the 19-year-old's signature.
