Luis Diaz's fiancée heaped praise on the Liverpool FC forward after his incredible start to the season continued last night. The Colombian was awarded player of the match as he scored a hat-trick in the Reds 4 - 0 win over Bayer Leverkusen.
Diaz started in a more unfamiliar role at the centre of the front three in Tuesday night's Champions League tie at Anfield. The 27-year-old opening the scoring in superb fashion when he latched on to Curtis Jones' through ball and dinked it over Lukas Hradecky.
Diaz scored his second from close range in the 83rd minute before he sealed his hat trick in the 92nd minute when he capitalised on a the rebound after Darwin Nunez's shot was blocked. The number 7 has now scored 9 goals this season as his goal scoring form continues under new boss, Arne Slot.

Diaz shared an update on his own Instagram after the game as he hoped his achievement was the first of many. He told his 6.4m followers: "First hat-trick at home and more to come."
Diaz received lots of praise from Slot after his incredible performance as the Reds went top of the new Champions League group stage. When asked about his decision to play him central in the attack, Slot said: "I only have four attackers available at the moment with the injuries to Diogo Jota and Federico Chiesa.
"And Darwin didn't play that much in the beginning and then started to play a bit more. "With this fixture list, it is almost impossible to play them all.
"So that, combined with Jonathan Tah being a really good defender, one of the best defenders in Germany, who likes to play a bit more against a target man, means we chose to play Lucho more from the left or from midfield and maybe surprise him afterwards with runs in behind.
Slot, though, had further praise reserved for Liverpool's No.7, whose tally for the season stands at nine after taking home the match ball on Tuesday night, adding: "Not only the people in Colombia like Lucho, the fans of Liverpool love him a lot as well. "I heard many times the fans singing his song. And the manager likes him as well.
